Nuan Nuan x mint Product Shoot
I was more than a little hesitant when Nuan Nuan, a company founded in 2016 specializing in beautiful-yet-practical children’s handmade accessories, approached me to do their Summer collection shoot. I had never done a product shoot before. But with such an adorable brand and cute products, how could I say no?
Before the shoot, I wanted to plan for the looks and flatlays I wanted to do. And I wanted to convey what Nuan Nuan was about. To really evoke the brand’s aesthetic, we jointly decided to create a fun, modern Chinese look that would go with the dresses. To accentuate this further, we approached MINT, a.k.a Made in New Territories, a company that captures the Hong Kong aesthetic through handmade home decor items and gifts, and asked if they would like to do a joint shoot. Once they agreed, we pounced at this perfect opportunity to showcase MINT’s wooden dimsum baskets together with Nuan Nuan’s collection. With a little floral magic and a lot of fun accessories, the flatlay styling turned out to be so much fun!
