The Reyes Family Goes to HK

Kathy contacted me months before their Hong Kong trip, with the intention of getting their family’s photos taken. And I thought it was one of the sweetest shoots I’ve had the pleasure of doing. It’s not everyday that I get to capture three families on a special trip to our very own Home Kong. They requested for a harbor shoot and where else could I take them but the iconic Avenue of Stars/Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Terminal.

Together is a Wonderful Place to Be

Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. We are so happy to have taken photos for this travel-loving clan.

Shooting three families on their own and then together was a challenge I enjoyed. Being able to capture all the inter-relationships between family members, I felt, really made me understand how unique each family member is but also how similar they can be at times, how dynamic interactions could be, and how important they are especially as we grow older. Plus the multi-generational aspect of shooting an entire clan just really tugged at my heart strings.

And when the kids were just plain exhausted from the sweltering heat, the grown ups stepped up their shoot game and just had a lot of fun in front of the camera.
